Time sure does fly when you’re having fun!!!
Daisy and I started Carolina Dog Training
10 YEARS AGO – May 2006! And, this is how it happened: I’d been teaching adult learners at a community college and had just celebrated another birthday (I was feeling old!) when I realized that it was high time that I went after my childhood dream of teaching dogs to enjoy a more peaceful life with their human companions. I knew that I had an inherent understanding of dogs and felt a special kinship with them. That became clear to me when I brought home my first stray at age 11!
To make a long story short, I enrolled in the National K9 School for Dog Trainers and brought my young pup Daisy with me. The rest is history! I have learned more than I ever thought I needed to at the time! And, now realize that there is still so much more to learn in both my skills with dogs as well as my skills with people!
I have all of you to thank for that! So, in commemoration of this milestone, we have just launched our new and much improved CarolinaDogTraining website!
There you’ll find easy access to new programs and classes for you and your wonderful pooches to participate in such as a new Tricks Class for kids old and young! I recently became a Certified Trick Dog Instructor!!!
